Route 17, ‘Golden / Colfax’, runs from 10th / Washington in Golden to Federal Center Station via Oak Station.

This route was created in September 2023 as part of the System Optimization Plan, which split up Route 16.

Current Issues

This route suffers from poor scheduling at Oak Station, here buses are timed to depart at the same time that westbound W Line trains arrive.

Future Plans

The System Optimization Plan proposes to increase weekday frequency to 15 minutes, evening frequency to 30 minutes and weekend frequency to 30 minutes.

The System Optimization Plan details no proposals to change this route.
