Route 6, ‘East 6th Avenue’, runs from 11th & Larimer (MSU Campus) to Aurora Metro Center via Downtown Denver and 6th Avenue.
The route was extended to Aurora Metro Center in May 2023.
Map & Schedule
Route 6 operates 7 days a week. Frequency is generally 30 minutes throughout the day, dropping to 60 minutes in the evenings.
Vehicles Used
The route is operated by TransDev on behalf of RTD using Gillig 40ft Low Floor transit buses from Broadway Garage, Denver.

This route suffers from poor scheduling at ? Station, here buses are timed to depart 3 minutes before W Line trains arrive.

The System Optimization Plan proposes to increase frequency to 15 minutes, westbound in the am peak and eastbound in the
pm peak
