Route 51, ‘Sheridan Boulevard’, runs from US 36 / Sheridan Station to Englewood Station via 60th & Sheridan (Arvada Gold Strike) Station and Sheridan Blvd.

Route 51 operates 7 days a week. Frequency is generally 30 minutes throughout the day, dropping to 60 minutes in the evenings.

Current Issues
This route suffers from poor scheduling at ? Station, here buses are timed to depart 3 minutes before W Line trains arrive.
Future Plans
The System Optimization Plan proposes to cut the northern terminus of the route back to 60th & Sheridan (Arvada Gold Strike) Station and increase weekday daytime frequencies to 15 minutes. Replacement service on the cut northern portion would be provided by reinstating Route 53.
