Route 121, ‘Peoria Street’, runs from 40th & Airport – Gateway Park Station to Nine Mile Station via Montbello and Peoria Street.

Route 121 operates 7 days a week. Frequency is generally 30 minutes at all times.
The System Optimization Plan proposed extra trips between Peoria Station and Nine Mile Station to provide 15 minute service during the day, Monday – Saturday. This was implemented in September 2023.
Vehicles Used
The route is operated by RTD using Gillig 40ft Low Floor transit buses from East Metro Garage, Aurora.

Current Issues
This route suffers from poor scheduling at Peoria Station, where buses are timed to depart 1-2 minutes before A Line trains arrive.
Future Plans
The System Optimization Plan does not detail any further proposals to change this route.
