The Boulder, ‘HOP’, is a bi-directional circular bus service in the center of Boulder that serves Downtown Boulder Station, via Boulder Junction, 29th Street Retail District and the CU Boulder Campus. The HOP debuted in 1994 and is provided by the City of Boulder through a funding partnership with the Regional Transportation District (RTD) and CU Boulder.

The HOP operates 7 days a week. Frequency is generally 12 minutes throughout the day, dropping to 20 minutes in the evenings. Sunday all frequency is 23 minutes.

The route is operated by Via Mobility on behalf of the City of Boulder using Gillig 30ft Low Floor transit buses from Valmont Garage.

A 2019 City of Boulder Report proposes to introduce 3 new HOP routes, the longest extending east to Flatiron Business Park via Pearl Parkway.
